I was in 7th grade. Going to 2nd period, in Coach Scarborough's Life Science class.

My desk was RIGHT in front of where the tv was. We walked in and sat down. He was sitting on the edge of his desk with the tv turned a little so he could see too. He pointed and said "That's the Pentagon." then "Those are the twin towers." ...Yeah.

Then they came on the intercom "Teachers, please turn off ALL televisions!" ...but he didn't. He left it on. We watched it ALL period long. It was sooo scary. No one would talk about anything else all day. Then we found out that a girl at my school's dad was working at the Pentagon. But he was ok.

I went home and my mom & stepdad weren't home. All my neighbors were rushing around getting gas and such. It was sad...~Meagan

I didn't know it had happened untill around noon. I ended up buying an "Extra" from the guys in the middle of the intersection. They were literaly yelling "Extra extra, read all about it" like in the old movies.
The extra was confusing because it was thrown together so fast and I didn't know if the WTC was still standing or not. Turns out they had fallen. That was what upset me, the loss of the buildingd. I knew the buildings, but I didn't know any of the people in them.
